Nic is a consultant with wide experience as an 'agent for change'. He is a Chartered Engineer and has specialised in developing business and technical processes for ISO9000 accreditation.  He pioneered paperless quality systems, combining Lean Enterprise and Continuous Improvement techniques to simplify and integrate QS with the organisation's operating practices. Quality system clients include:  AEA Technology plc (formally the UK Atomic Energy Authority), The Bank of England and many SME's. On a parallel theme, he provides health and safety coaching to Severn Trent Water plc, Zurich Insurance and most UK Health Authorities.

His work on the broader aspects of business strategy led him to play an important part in the development of several 'world products' for companies such as Sony (Japan) and Armament Systems & Procedures Inc (USA). Through his work on improving performance and in bringing products to cost effective manufacture, production design improvements have achieved multi-million dollar profitability for the manufacturers. Equally at home in the financial sector as he is in a technical office or factory, the key to his significant contribution is in his innate ability for innovation and troubleshooting and his strong belief in team working at all levels
